Resolved: Having convened in an open meeting on December 19, 2011, the School
Committee of Fitchburg Public Schools, in accordance with its charter, by-laws, and
ordinances, has voted to authorize the Superintendent to submit to the Massachusetts
School Building Authority the Statement of Interest dated January 11, 2012, for the
Goodrich Building (houses Alternative High School) located at 111 Goodrich Street,
which describes and explains the following deficiencies and the priority category(s) for
which Fitchburg may be invited to apply to the Massachusetts School Building
Authority in the future a Priorities 3,5, & 7 application to upgrade the windows,
electrical infrastructure, and make the facility compliant with American Disabilities Act;
and hereby further specifically acknowledges that by submitting this Statement of
Interest, the Massachusetts School Building Authority in no way guarantees the
acceptance or the approval of an application, the awarding of a grant, or any other
funding commitment from the Massachusetts School Building Authority, or commits
the City of Fitchburg or its School District to filing an application for funding with the
Massachusetts School Building Authority.

votes required to submit Statements of Interests to MSBA.
Resolved: Having convened in an open meeting on December 19, 2011, the School
Committee of Fitchburg Public Schools, in accordance with its charter, by-laws, and
ordinances, has voted to authorize the Superintendent to submit to the Massachusetts
School Building Authority the Statement of Interest dated January 11, 2012, for the
Memorial Middle School located at 615 Rollstone Street, which describes and explains
the following deficiencies and the priority category(s) for which Fitchburg may be
invited to apply to the Massachusetts School Building Authority in the future a Priority
5 application to upgrade the electrical infrastructure and make the facility compliant
with American Disabilities Act; and hereby further specifically acknowledges that by
submitting this Statement of Interest, the Massachusetts School Building Authority in
no way guarantees the acceptance or the approval of an application, the awarding of
a grant, or any other funding commitment from the Massachusetts School Building
Authority, or commits the City of Fitchburg or its School District to filing an application
for funding with the Massachusetts School Building Authority.

ordinances, has voted to authorize the Superintendent to submit to the Massachusetts
School Building Authority the Statement of Interest dated January 11, 2012, for the
Reingold Elementary School located at 70 Reingold Avenue, which describes and
explains the following deficiencies and the priority category(s) for which Fitchburg
may be invited to apply to the Massachusetts School Building Authority in the future a
Priority 5 application to upgrade the electrical infrastructure and make the facility
compliant with American Disabilities Act; and hereby further specifically acknowledges
that by submitting this Statement of Interest, the Massachusetts School Building
Authority in no way guarantees the acceptance or the approval of an application, the
awarding of a grant, or any other funding commitment from the Massachusetts School
Building Authority, or commits the City of Fitchburg or its School District to filing an
application for funding with the Massachusetts School Building Authority.

make the facility compliant with American Disabilities Act; and hereby further
specifically acknowledges that by submitting this Statement of Interest, the
Massachusetts School Building Authority in no way guarantees the acceptance or the
approval of an application, the awarding of a grant, or any other funding commitment
from the Massachusetts School Building Authority, or commits the City of Fitchburg or
its School District to filing an application for funding with the Massachusetts School
Building Authority.
